Yes, all technical staff are qualified technicians that also hold appropriate electrical licenses. They are also highly experienced with head technician Geoff Kinzett having 40 years of experience. He has worked on a very broad range of consumer and industrial electrical and electronic equipment.

Yes. The fee varies with the type of product but in all cases is deducted from the quoted price of repair if the product is repaired. In affect the quote fee acts as a deposit against the total cost of repair if the product is repaired. If the product is NOT repaired for whatever reason the quote fee is retained by Resch Electronics to cover some of the fault finding time and costs. This quote fee is generally $88. The exception to this rule is the occasional high end HiFi product or the occasional super simple job such as replacing a power plug which might be as little as $44.

We repair all sorts of snake type products, acoustic leak testing gear etc from brands such as Ridgid, Pearpoint, Seca, Sewerquip and Sewerin.

I’m sorry we no longer repair complex AV receivers due to difficulty and complexity of the repair versus the replacement price. Projectors, TVs, car sound gear and DVD players are also no longer repaired by Resch. Maybe The Video Factory can assist you with these AV style products. We still DO repair stereo HiFi receivers as we do integrated amplifiers.

The warranty on repairs varies with the kind of product but the minimum warranty on repairs is 90 days parts and labour. Although it is our expectation that repairs will last for a very long time so if you have an issue we would love to hear from you.

Yes we still repair UHF radios from most brands.

Yes. Although only out of warranty. Brands such as Pearpoint, Seca, Sewerquip and Sewerin are repaired by us at Resch Electronics, Gold Coast. Although we also repair these products for plumbers based in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Yes, absolutely! BUT only the brands that we also repair under warranty. This is due to the ready availability of parts and technical support available from our key brands. These brands are listed at the bottom of each web page.

Car stereos and many other consumer electronics devices have become increasingly hard to repair for a variety of reasons. Lack of spare parts, poor quality, cheaper to replace, impossible to disassemble and work on due to small size etc. At Resch Electronics we have had to make the hard decision to no longer offer repair services on some product groups. The following types are no longer repaired, under any circumstances, by Resch Electronics.

Car radio or CD players

Car audio amplifiers, speakers or subwoofers

TV’s of any kind

VCR’s, DVD players or recorders, set top boxes

Yes in the case of quite a broad range of plumbing diagnostics equipment. Resch unfortunately does not repair battery chargers, solar panel chargers/controllers, UPS’s, welders etc.
